Default What's necessary?

I'm not a gourmet cook, and we have very limited space. What do you consider your essential items? I have 3 small cabinets.

Are you referring to cookware and utensils? I can't live without a saute pan, a stock pot, and a food processor. Basic utensils that I need are wooden spoons and a stainless spatula.

I consider kitchen knives, frying pans and sauce pans, bowls and plates as basic and primarily essential in any kitchen. Frying pans and sauce pans are versatile as cookware.

I have a pan rack that hangs from the ceiling that I hang only my favorite pans from. I keep the toaster out on the counter because we use it every day. I like to have my cutting boards and knives handy too.
