Default What's your favorite quick and easy meal.

What's a family favorite that your can just whip up quick and easy? For me and mine it's polish sausage, mashed potatoes and sauerkraut. Even our little 4 year old goes to town with this.

If we're really pinched for time and energy, then mac and cheese and hot dogs usually takes care of things.

So, what's your quick and easy go to meal that makes your family happy?

One of my favorite meals would be baked beans in a crock pot. I add leftover wieners and/or diced onions and let them bake for a few hours.

I like how the onions flavor the beans.

any kind of pasta really...

tortellini, capelletti or ravioli... with some kind of sauce.. and grated cheese... done in minutes.

Same thing again in the summer but as a salad..

I use fusilli tricolore... chop up cucumber, peppers, spring onion and coriander... add a mustard dressing (olive oil, vinegar, and a spoonful of dijon mustard) sorted..

Whenever we're too tired to cook we head for eggs. We chop and saute lots of fresh vegetables to go in them and then scramble or make omlettes. And my husband makes the best home fries ever.

We all like spagetti, which is fairly simple. But another of my favorites is cheeseburger macaroni. I fry up some ground beef and drain it. Then I make a couple of boxes of Kraft Mac & Cheese and mix the finished products together. I even add in extra salt and garlic powder for taste. We love it.

Spaghetti is my quickest and easiest meal to make. It takes me about 25 minutes (which you may say is not that short) but the pleasure I get from eating those 25 minutes are nothing!
