I would love to start making my own soap. Does anyone here do that? If so what would be your best advice in getting started? I know there are a ton of books and such out there but am hoping some here have some good advice.
Make sure you have good ventilation and make sure the weather is good enough that you can open the doors and windows. It is an easy thing to do once you get used to it, but you may have to do several batches before you get the hang of it.
Go online and do a search for making soap. There are a lot of tutorials out there. There's probably something on YouTube as well, I just haven't searched for it.
