My hubby is going to buy a circular saw for a Christmas present to himself and build a couch. We found some instructions on the net, and it does not look too complicated. It has storage and can double as a day bed. I'm excited and can not wait to get started! Has anybody ever built a couch?

No but it sounds like it will be nice when it's all done. Having extra sleeping room and storage to boot is always good to have. Good Luck!

I have never even heard of being able to make your own couch it kind of sounds fun if its really not that hard to do. If you can start with just this small project who knows what he will make for you next? I would love a large wood dinning table (like the large farm types).

I have never heard of any couch building plans, either. It should be an interesting venture. It sounds unique. I like to find and make things nobody else has.
