One of my aunt's has come up with the cutest idea for Christmas. She gave the grandparents and parents a 100 question survey called when I was younger. The questions are like when I was eight we would play..., my favorite band was... . She is going to put all the answers in a hard cover book so that the kids and grandkids will always have these memories. I think she is going to put pictures in there as well.

Awww...This is such a nice and sweet idea. It's always fun to find out 'trivia' or titbits about a family member, especially the older ones. Most of the time, such a 'Do you know that...' info becomes a favorite conversation topic.

That is a great idea and a great gift. I bet the kids will cherish it always. I know I wish I had something like that. I can remember the stories my gramps told me when I was growing up (about his childhood) but someday I will forget them.

Terrific idea! Did she come up with the questions herself or did she find a format somewhere? I'm going to do something like this for my daughter this year. It would even be fun to extend it to other family members like aunts and uncles.
