Default Day of crafts

Our youngest has a birthday coming up this week and I have already taken the day off for it. I asked what she wants to do and she said a full day of crafts. I have no idea what we will come up with but it sounds like a very de-stressing day which I could enjoy too. Anyone done this before, is a full day going to kill me?

I don't know that I could devote a full day to crafts, but then again I'm not a very crafty person. Is your day of crafts going to be just the two of you or are you having her friends over for it?

I would start planning now, because without a plan you could get stressed. Get some ideas of what crafts your daughter wants to try. Then do an internet search for more, and instructions. Make sure you have all supplies you need, before the day. Then, make a checklist and you are ready. Have fun!

A day of crafts, sounds like a very fun day. I agree, that you should plan all the activities, beforehand. If not, it could lead to a real disaster.

I do not think a full day of crafts will kill you, as long as you thoroughly plan for it. How old is your little girl? I bought a Knifty Knitter loom set, at Walmart, and it is easy to use. You can easily make hats, scarves, and other stuff. Another idea, is making paper beads with old magazines. You can string the beads for necklaces, bracelets, or even a beaded curtain. I hope your daughter and you have a fun day.

Play dough. Do some play dough crafts. It's in every kids wish list. You could also do some glue crafts, put glue on paper, squirt some water based paint on the glue and make swirls. It's fun and easy.
