I've seen some beautiful examples of Native American beading over the years and I decided to try it. I found it was a wonderful way to destress. You have to concentrate so hard on the beading, there is no way you can let your mind wander to your own troubles! I love it. I've not done anything really big yet but I have completed a couple of bracelets I've given to friends for gifts and they loved them. I highly recommend it!

Where did you find information on how to best do this? I would love to try it out, but don't really know where I could begin. I absolutely could use the way to destress!

I found information on the web when I first started but I don't remember the web site. It's been quite a while and many computers ago. You can find info on beading from a beading magazine and honestly the name escapes me at the moment. I bought mine at Books A Million about 3 years ago. It's not really hard and it's so very pretty when you finish. I've started making my own simple designs. That's easy to do too if you have graph paper.
