DeepHollow, they look pretty easy to make. I'll bet with a little trial and error you could make them without a pattern. I'd just start at the bottom working like I was going to make a hat out of single crochet until the opening got to be about six inches, then I'd switch to a more decorative stitch increasing each round by 25% until you reach your desired width and then just keep going straight up until you reach the length. You can do any sort of decorative border around the top you like.
That's really cute! I've never seen one of those before but they look like they would be handy. At least you wouldn't have to worry about one of the baby's feet dangling out of a blanket.
Those are very cute! I have never heard of a baby cocoon, either. I agree, they look kind of like how you start a boggin. Sorry, I do not have a pattern, to share with you.
I don't have a pattern either but I would definitely suggest starting it as Aliyah said. It seems pretty easy. I have seen these and they make great baby gifts.
