Default Does anyone sew

I don't sew a whole lot, but I would love to make my daughters some cute little twirly skirts. Has anyone seen a tutorial for making easy skirts?

I don't sew anymore and I don't know where to find tutorials. There might be some on YouTube. A type of skirt that is easy to make is one that is gathered at the waist. I don't know if your daughter would like that style, but it's easy to make and you might be able to find a pattern for it online or in the patterns at a store.

I did a quick browse on Youtube, and there are several tutorials on how to make skirts...I don't sew. It seems that I just don't have the knack for it. There are times though that I wish I could sew well enough so that I can re-create the clothes I see on magazines or fashion shows.

With the world at our fingertips online, I'm sure you can make them. I do sew but not clothing. I sew quilts and wall hangings. I'm sure you can make a skirt though - just look online for a tutorial.

I just finished sewing a quilt for my daughter's room. It is a peace theme! I don't make clothing though. I never really got into that. I want to make curtains for the new kitchen but I don't know if I can.

I asked my wife and she said to try "AllFreeSewing" and there were all kinds of skirt patterns there for free. I should learn to sew but I have her and have never had to do more than sew a button on my shirt.
