Default Dried flowers

My husband is very good about bringing me fresh flowers occasionally and I like to keep them and dry them out. My problem is they're starting to accumulate and I don't know what to do with them. Any suggestions?

Hang them in bunches around your family room. It looks very nice. Or you could attach the heads to wire stems with silk leaves and make a flower arrangement. I have also just taken the heads and glued them among dried babies breath.

I had them hanging in bunches upside down. Then I took them down to paint and before I could get them back up they got ruined. I was really sad about that. I wish I had a better way of protecting them.

You can try drying them in silica gel. You can buy it by the quart at the crafts store like Michael's or Hobby Lobby. Take the blooms off of the stem and cover them with silica gel in a shoe box or plastic box. Let them dry for the specified amount of time then shake off the silica gel. You can then wire them to silk stems and leaves.
