Have you ever made flags with the kids? We did it this weekend for 4th July, making Betsy Ross flags. They came out really cute, and only used ribbons, felt and fabric glue-really easy.
No, but I love flags. I have a flagpole out and I try to have a flag for every occasion. I just took the American flag down and put up one with a glass of lemonade sitting on a porch table pictured on it.
Making a family flag could be fun. It might be nice to make a family crest of sorts. That might be a really nice way to promote every one supporting each other.
Or course I have made flags but they have been rather simple. Some of them simply made from a large piece of paper. I have made it from cloth several times though. A family flag is awesome though!
I've never made a flag of any kind in my life. I do like to have an American flag to put up but ours fell apart after decades of use and we don't have the financing to get a new one.
