Default For gifts

I started making my crafts again last weekend. The good thing about making crafts is I give them as gifts for the Holidays – so it saves me money and it’s a thoughtful gift. This year I’m making a couple of quilts, a few wall hangings (embroider), and several wood crafts. I’ve got my white board all set up in the garage (we have 2 – 1 is a craft garage for wood and the other is the real garage). I can’t wait to keep scratching things off. Have you started yet? What will you be making?

I have started and I'm making quilts too. So far they are turning out great! I make them in the house though. I wish I had a whole garage to make crafts! There would so much less clutter in the house!

I hear you about clutter! I have a sewing room in my house too and its a mess from about July to December. I like to embroider out in the living room. I do try to pick up every night!

I am not savvy enough to make a quilt but I love the idea behind homemade gifts. We sent all cards to family and friends during the holidays that we make on our own and the kids love to help.
