Default Knitting

I have an interest in learning how to knit and I was thinking about looking for a local class to take, but time is a problem. There just aren't enough hours in the day for work, family AND a knitting class! Is it hard to learn and does anyone think it would be possible to research it online and learn that way?

I did. I didn't know how to knit and I watched it online and practiced and practiced until I was able to do it. I think I hold the needles different than everyone else but I still was able to learn.

That is interesting. I never thought about looking it up online. I would love to learn how to knit. It seems like a relaxing hobby.

I learned how to knit when I was a little girl. I loved watching my grandmother do it. I haven't knitted in a long time though. I should get back into it.

I taught a class in my church last year. I myself learned at my mom's knee, but many other crafts I have just self taught. As far as knitting, I cannot stress enough how quickly some of these ladies caught on because they were able to help each other along, and make them understand by learning from each others mistakes.
