Y'all know how I like to repurpose everything so I just wanted to offer a quick tip for something you can do with your aluminum pie plates. We cut out old fashioned looking stars and other Christmas type shapes and use them for decorations. Even though the pie plates leave an uneven pattern the decorations look cool. If the pattern from the pie plate bothers you you can roll it out a bit so it's less noticeable but I actually like the look of it.

You can make ornaments for the tree or string them together to make garland. They also make nice accents for homemade rustic looking wreaths.
