The kids came up with the idea. We just got some different sizes to make snowmen with and found odds and end for the eyes, nose and mouth. We also bought some of the little hats to put on their heads. We actually sprayed them with some of that can snow before we decorated them. They came out kind of cute.
That does sound cute! Did you display them in the house? A little snowman village, perhaps? That's pretty creative of your kids to come up with an idea like that!
That does sound like it was a lot of fun. We've done this in the past but it's been a good while now. I think that would be cute to have a little snowman village like Buttercup mentioned.
How sweet! Did you glue them together or use toothpicks to hold the 3 balls together? We made these once and we used toothpicks. A snowmen village sounds pretty cool! I bet the kids had a ball making them! I would have skipped the fake snow though- I hate that stuff.
We did these a long time ago and we had to learn the hard way about our cat. She loves two things, paper of any type and styrofoam. The one year we did this we woke the next day to find them all destroyed. And hey, isn't Styrofoam not biodegradable?
