I am getting married next month and I was thinking about making my own favors to save some money. It's a small wedding and I'd only need about five or six favors, but I can't think of what to make. Any suggestions?

I made my own favors also. We went to Yankee Candle and got little candles and put them 2 in the small draw string bags, with a few Hershey kisses. I made little tags to tie on that had our names & wedding date. Congrats

We did seeds in a little ziploc bag and inside a drawstring bag with a tag in it. We had a candy buffet at ours as well for the kids.

My niece had chocolate (white, milk and dark) made up by a local sweet shop in the shape of hearts that had "Love" on them. We brought them home and tied curling ribbons around the handles and they were adorable. I've also seen a friend's daughter who took a small heart shaped cookie cutter and made a small tag that said "Thank you for helping to celebrate the love and union of ------ and ------!) They were cute too. She also used curling ribbon the color of the wedding colors.

You could take some fake flowers and wrap them and maybe have some candy attached or something. I've never seen favors before so I'm not even sure if that's a good idea or not

Those are some really great ideas! Thanks, everyone I really like the seeds since my fiance and I love gardening. I'm going to hit the craft store and the garden center this weekend and see what I can find!

I am very into gardening as well. I put a little tag that said "Sowing the Seeds of Love" and then our names and date. They looked really cute and were at least practical.
