Default What's Your Favorite Craft?

I know there are probably plenty of us who do multiple crafts in our homes. But what is the one craft that you like the best out of all that you do? What is the one craft you couldn't do without? For me that would be knitting although I do cross stitch and crochet as well as embroidery and sewing. I also paint, faux paint for walls, and scrapbook as well. But my very, very favorite is knitting. How about you?

I've been building model aircraft since I was a child, and have a large collection waiting to still be built. The more detail needed the better.

I am bad with crafts, but I am good with organizing stuff. Tell me something can not fit somehow and I can make it work, most times just looking at the space and maybe rearrange 2-3 things and poof its done. That is my gift, but crafts, ha, doubtful.

I do some sewing for the home, some scrapbooking, but my free time is mostly spent with my crochet hook. I'd like to learn how to knit though.

I love to sew too. I make a lot of quilts as gifts! I have people actually request that I make them for them and they pay me. It's a great thing to do. I love to work on them at night.

auntie-There are sites on the internet that show how to knit. The rest is just practice like any other craft. If I can think of it in a bit, I'll post the site I use for new stitches. They have videos that show you how so it's a bit easier than just reading the instructions.

Found it! It's on eHow. These are very easy video tutorials and are very easy to follow. If you don't like these, I've found many other videos on the internet that will let you see how they do the stitches. I am pretty sure I found one series on YouTube but I didn't save the link. I'm sure if you Google "YouTube knitting" you will be able to find it easily. In the meantime, here's the link I use:

I love to do one stroke painting. I took one of the Donna Dewberry classes a long time ago at the local Hobby Lobby and I love it. I've decorated a lot of things and in one room I actually did a mural. It really is easy to do and after you practice a bit you can make some really nice things.

I have done almost everything in my time from cross stitch to pottery when we owned a kiln but the craft I could not live without is my plank on frame wooden ship building. It takes me a long time to build one and they are so big we don't have room for them so I usually give them away, but I really get a kick out of building them.
