Do you know how to make a Christmas wreath (with pine needles and grapevine)? I would love to learn how to make these but I don’t know anyone who makes them. I’m thinking it can’t be too hard?

I did a long time ago but its been many years since I have tried myself. It is not really hard but there is a knack to it that will take a little practice before you get it down pat.

I've made them before but honestly, I just save myself the work and buy one. I've even given up making the roping for the porch these days. I have a hard time getting back in the woods these days to get the pine branches.

I still make mine. I don't use grapevine as a base though. I use a florist foam wreath that's been soaked in water for several hours. It makes the pine last a whole lot longer that way. You can then decorate it any way you wish.

I have no floral arranging skills whatsoever. I am just not talented like that. I can paint though and have done paintings for my family every year. They like them, or so it seems. They do have them on the wall every time I drop by, so I guess that's a good thing.
