Would you let your teenager daughter paint her room all different bright colors? Hot pinks, neon blues, bright greens?
My daughter wants to do this in the Summer.

I would, it's only a room and it can be painted over. Most teens like to experiment with their rooms and how they look it can't be too bad if it's just a room.

The wife painted our daughters room yellow. The wife wanted a really bright yellow, but I talked her into a more mild yellow. When she gets older and she wants a brighter color we can work with her on that.

I wouldn't. I would go with a neutral color and use little accent pieces around her room for small hints and pops of color.

I would, of course. It is her room and she deserves to decide how the place she lives in looks. Though, since it's a bedroom, I would suggest her to go for soothing colors like green.
