I would love some new ideas on how to change up my bedroom. I don't want to spend a lot of money though. I don't need a new bed or dressers, just need a change in there to brighten it up a bit.

Do you really want to brighten your bedroom? I would have a hard time sleeping in a brighter room. You can always add a chair or something in the room to change it up. How about changing the comforter set?

Hey it's all dark when the lights are off right? No really I didn't mean to use neon colors or anything like that, just something to brighten the room and the mood.I like the new comforter set idea. I could change the decor of the room.

I always move things in the room. I rotate where things are, and that often helps me feel better about the bedroom! I think that the decor suggestion is also a good one.

You don't have to buy a new comforter. If you can sew, just make a new duvet cover and pillow shams. It's a lot cheaper to buy material and make it yourself than buying a new set. If you have the money and the time, you can make several sets and change them when you want something different.

You could paint the room in a lighter color, put some decorative patterns on the wall or a section of the wall, move around the furniture a bit too. You could also change from drapes to curtains or blinds.

What about changing the wall colors? That might be what is dragging you down a little and other than some prep time its a quick change as long as you know what you are doing.
