Default Couch Covers

I have a light colored, suede-like couch. It is second hand, but the kids keep getting it dirty. Pulling off the couch cushion covers is a big pain, every time I need to clean the couch. I am thinking about getting a couch cover, but previously had bad experiences with them. The covers never seem to fit right. Where could I find some good couch covers, that actually fit? Should I just try a sheet, tucked in, and maybe pinned at the bottom?

I have had better luck with the covers that have a separate piece for the seat cushion. It seems to stay tucked in longer than all the rest. There are places on the internet where you can buy custom covers, but they are expensive. My mother is giving me her couch that is only 2 years old. With 2 kids and 3 dogs I will be covering that immediately, so I can report back on the cover.

I saw one on a book recently either Finger-hut or that Bookstore place that is always in the mall with expensive gadgets. They had a cover that was stretchy so it would conform to the type of couch you had.
