Do you cut off some branches and decorate around the house with them? I saw this last night and it was so cute. Pine branches with ornaments on them, like on windowsills.
How else do you decorate?

I have an artificial tree because I can't stand the pine needles!

This year I went and got some pine from the nursery and made some centerpieces. I took that green foam that they use at florists. Then put the pine all around the green foam ( I also hot glued the foam to a small plate). Then I took some Christmas balls and pointsetta and stuck them in too. Add a candle to the middle and voila, a centerpiece.

After making these, I remembered how much I hate the pine needles!

I just put some pine boughs in a large crock we have on the floor. I will add red ribbons, a few Christmas floral picks and a few small bare limbs from trees around my house. That gives me the pine scent and not a bunch of pine needles to pick up.
