Default Ice cream cone ornaments
My 12 year old niece gave me 2 tree ornaments made out of ice cream comes. One is a regular cone (colored red), and one is a sugar cone. She poked two tiny holes on each side of the cone for the string to hang it. One she filled with wrapped hard life savors, and one she filled with cotton balls covered with candy sprinkles. Boy are they cute!

They sound pretty cute! How will you preserve the cones though? I would think they would mold after a bit of time? It sounds like a neat ornament though.
