I've been looking at Christmas trees lately and I've noticed a lot of the places that sell artificial trees are selling lime green trees. I guess I'm a traditionalist, but these are just jarring to my senses. Does anyone really like these?

Well, it is different. I personally don't like it but a lot of people who are fans of contemporary decor would like it. I've seen a lot of stylized stuff for Christmas lately. I guess this is just following that trend.

I think it was Hobby Lobby of all places that had a lime green, neon pink and a few other colors. Not my style, I do not even like the white trees. But some people do.

I've seen those, but I'm a traditionalist too I guess. I guess they sell them since they keep making weird colors like purple, pink, black, red and other strange looking trees.

My best friend lives in a contemporary townhouse in a NYC suburb. She decorated her house for Christmas in lime green and silver and I have to say that it looked beautiful! I'm more of a traditional girl, too, but I loved what she did. Her living room is white walls, scarlett red furniture and zebra print area rug and pillows. The lime green and silver really looked classy.
