I use large plants and miniature dish gardens as decorations inside the house. I feel fresher with live plants in the house.

We have a whole window for this in the kitchen. It's just beautiful. It helps me feel calm and peaceful. I don't know what you mean by dish gardens though?

I just bought another palm tree tonight. They have been marked down because it's winter and no one wants them. Palms filter the air inside and I love to have them sitting around. If I don't have some sort of growing thing in the house I go into withdrawal in the winter LOL!

Well I just don't have that "green thumb" and I kill almost everything that I bring inside. It's just not right. My mom is excellent with plants and flowers and I'm terrible! It is crazy!

I would love to have live plants inside. But for some reason they don`t survive. Italialover, a dish garden is one pot with many different plants in it. I had one of those a long time ago. I replanted them separately. They grew beautiful outside. I think I have to much dust and smoke in my house for plants to survive inside. My hubby still smokes while I am trying to quit.
