I'm having a debate with my wife. She likes to have lots of different colors throughout the house...one room green, the other around the corner blue, or even two colors in the same room, i.e. kitchen. I like off-white everything and then decorate with pictures.

Am I the old fashioned one and she's "in style"?

I really think it's just a matter of your style. I've seen both and liked both but that is something you two are going to have to compromise on.

From what I've seen in newer homes, your wife's painting ideas are more modern and "in style". However, I'd say go with what you like; maybe some rooms your way and some hers.
