Default Potpourri in Glass Jars

I see a lot of people decorate/freshen their homes with bih glass jars of potpourri. I think it looks nice, and smells good, too. Does anyone decorate with potpourri? Do you make the potpourri, or buy it at the store?

I usually buy it and love to put it round the house. Sometimes I will sprinkle some of it in the plants that I have in the house. I just try not to overdue it as not everyone is fond of the smell.

I don't but it's only because my daughter is llergic to most potpourri's. She starts sneezing terrible when she is around it. I have seen it in other people's houses and its cute.

I just bought some potpourri yesterday for a decorative container I have. I've had this container for the longest time and could never figure out what to do with it. It just hit me yesterday that it would be perfect for potpourri

I have never done it myself but I am not fond of many scents. I still with the incense I can buy local (so I can smell them before I burn them). Right now I have one in an old style coke bottle since I do not have a proper holder for it.
