It's been a couple of years since I painted our living room and I went to Lowe's to buy paint. I couldn't believe it! I was shocked at how much the price of paint had gone up! I couldn't believe it! I left without the paint, but I will have to buy some since the room really needs to be freshened up before fall.

Tell me about it! I went to Wal-Mart and bought some paint. It was a lot cheaper. They have 3 brands in my stores. ColorPlace (cheapest), Better Homes and Garden (middle grade) and Glidden (best). I think the ColorPlace was $14.88 for a gallon.

That sounds like a lot of stores near me sunny. For the last 3 weeks the local stores (not chain stores) have been running paint sales. There are also mail in rebates attached to the gallon containers. You should watch for sales - anti.
