Default Red dinning room

Does anyone have any outrageous colors in their dinning room? We are thinking about going a little wild with red but I hear only certain reds work.

I would say a darker burgundy red would look nice in a dining room. We just have a whole lot of beige in our house but I am trying to talk the boyfriend into navy blue in our dining room and kitchen area.

Scarlett red can be incredibly elegant, especially with white moldings. It can also be very country or modern, too. I think you would definitely need to have a bright space to pull off a color like that.

With the right furniture red can look fantastic in a dining room. I have a red dining room with plaid accents and it looks awesome.

I have a red kitchen with redwork linens and kitchen chair pads. I trimmed in bright white with a crown moulding and a chair rail as well as a white baseboard and it looks really nice. I used an apple red.

Remember guys; red, orange, and yellow will increase the appetite. If you want to help your diet, use cool colors like sage green, blues, lavenders, all cool shades. A scientific experiment was done about this and it was proven to be true.

I never knew that about the colors but its a good idea to think about, too many people lately are dieting like crazy to drop a few pounds. I think red would be okay as long as its not a brassy shade.
