Default Tree down yet?

We took our tree down this morning. I'm tired of it already! It is a shame to pay $35 for a tree that we keep up a couple of weeks. I hate cleaning up the pine needles every day and I just wanted to get back to normal!

The pine needles are the reason that I really do not like them, and having a cat well you know that can be fun sometimes too. Our tree is still up but it will be coming down this weekend at the latest since most times we leave it up till at least New Year's.

We took ours down today. I love the smell of the real trees but I will be trying to get pine needles out of my house for the next 2 weeks lol! What do you do with your tree if it's real? We are going to burn ours but they have recycling programs here too.

Ours is down too! I take it down shortly after Christmas. Same reasons - cats, needles, etc. We cut ours up and burn it. We live in the country. I've never been one to leave it up until New Years.

I always leave my tree up until at least New Year's. The pine needles are a pain, yes, but I just love Christmas trees so much and I hate to see it go. It adds such a nice ambiance to the house.

We keep up all the other decorations but the tree has got to go! We heat with a wood stove and the needles fall off so quick! I do like having the tree though.

Our tree will be coming down this weekend. We are lucky because we have a fake tree so we don't have to deal with all the needles falling off but it is a pain because the kids won't stop touching the ornaments or the lights and have almost knocked it over numerous times.

We took ours down today. When my two boys were little I always took down everything on December 26th. My oldest son was born on December 27th. I wanted to make sure he didn`t feel left out of a regular birthday party. He is 22 now so it doesn`t bother him at all. Now he gets double presents lol. We may leave up the decorations but we still celebrate his birthday on the 27th.

Ours is down and I am so happy. They take up so much room and are such a fuss to mess with. I'm glad it is over now back to life and cleaning.

I keep mine up as long as possible. I have an artificial tree and it's up on a table (4 1/2 footer) so the dogs are not the issue. We got ours up so late this year that we wanted to watch it a while longer. It's coming down this next week though.
