I finally got my husband to take our tree down. I was getting sick of the kids touching it and the ornaments and it was in the way. Now I have to clean the carpet where it was. Even though it's a fake tree it still drops the needles like a real one..go figure. Next year we are getting a new tree because we have had this one for a while and the newer ones are so much nicer.

My wife took our tree down on December 31s and put away all of the Christmas decorations on the same day. When I returned home from work, everything was back to normal.
