I'd call that eclectic... and I think that's the best kind of decorating. I'd not want to find something fabulous at a yard sale and not be able to buy it because it wouldn't "match" with some elaborate decorating theme I've used.

lol.. well actually no... i tend to go for rich warm oriental colours.. my living room is all gold and red velvet, jade and chinese rosewood.. My dining room has a pale Yew wood dining set (table, chairs and sideboard) with gold and blue tapestry seats. There are large Chinese fans and massive vases all in golds and blues... and a huge gilded mirror...
