Default Your craziest room theme?

I know there are times when we redecorate and go for some sort of theme for the room. Do you remember a theme that you might have done and now wonder "what you were thinking" at the time? We once painted our bedroom ceiling black with lots of stars and glitter and even a neon moon. When you turned off the lights at night, you felt like you were looking at a night sky. Crazy now but we thought it was cool at the time

I think that sounds pretty cool - not crazy! I bet my kids would love that now. I painted our bedroom green and then painted yellow sponge painting over the top. My hubby loves John Deere so I made a room for him. It was hideous!

I think the black ceiling and stars sounds pretty cool too. I would like to give it a try. I'm thinking glow-in-the-dark paints and stars. I bet my kids would love it. I have never really done anything "out there" for decorating. I would never do John Deere - you are super nice.

I think about as wild as I got one time was painting strips on one wall in our bedroom all different colors. It was a pain to do and I ended up not liking it and had to repaint the whole wall again.

A very dark colored room that is going to be a paint to repaint, I know we will be doing it ourselves before we move homes but I still dread it. Never again!

I can't remember doing a crazy paint on the walls of our room. Perhaps I'm just not too bold to try anything like that. I remember putting a lot of those glow-in-the-dark stickers on the ceiling when I was a kid.

Man I always wanted to do that but somehow I never ended up seeing it through. My crazy theme would be painting the walls in peachy color.

I am not a theme decorator. I like neat and tidy so I don't tend to have a lot of extras or frivolities in my rooms. I do like to use color to make it more interesting though.

I remember when I was a teenager, I loved primary colors. I painted my bedroom three different colors. One wall was bright sea blue, the opposite was a dark green. The other two walls were a mix of the blue and green but slightly lighter. My mother had such a hard time covering these colors over after I moved out.
