When I moved into my new house I desperately needed some pictures on the walls. I ended up taking my own pictures around town, of landmarks I really liked. I had them printed at the drug store (you can order online usually) and mailed to me. Now I have them in frames all around the house. I recommend it if you need some quick decorations.

Good for you to have thought of such! I bet you were also able to save some money by taking your own pictures and having them framed instead of buying ready-made wall decorations...I've also done a similar thing before. I had this picture of mine that I liked so much, so what I did was to print it in black-and-white and have it framed. It's still hanging on my bedroom wall.

I need to work on this next after we get finished the remodel so I know what is going where. We have some photos and are huge Ansel Adams fans but as much as we would love to cover the house in his work, we do not have enough funds for it all.

That's a wonderful idea! We have a lot of painted quilt squares on different barns around our county. I'm sure pictures of those would be lovely. I like old barns anyway.

I get the best tips here! We have a veterens memorial in town that would make a wonderful picture especially now. I'm thinking of doing this, thanks for the wonderful tip!

I'm glad my tip is helpful to some of you! You can get prints for less than $10 here in as an 8 x 10 and there are even some that are the size of a poster and pretty cheap. I think it's a fun activity to go around and take the pictures too.
