It seems most adults I know have a passion for a gaming system or something else that is their adult toy that they splurge on. What types of things are you buying for yourself and how much is it costing? It seems many people are over spending on these things instead of saving.
We don't have any. We have an outside veggie garden that takes most of the time we have available. We will have canned veggies for winter though so that makes me feel better. I do some crocheting and knitting for winter activities. We don't have TV or gaming systems. We do have a VCR and a DVD player but that's it.
I don't know many adults that are passionate about gaming systems. If I buy toys for myself, then they're for helping me landscape my properties. I put my toys to work.
I don't really have any toys - if I'm wasting money, it's generally on art and trinkets that I don't really need. I also spend quite a bit on my pets - but they aren't toys, they're family.
I have young children and pretty much all my time, energy and money is wrapped up into taking care of them. If I had money to splurge on myself I would get a massage.
Well we have 4-wheelers and that is about it for toys. My daughter has a 4-wheeler too. We also have a Wii console but it's for the family, not us parents.

Same here although we do have an xbox 360 and we buy an occasional game. Mostly we use it to stream netflix movies through because we don't have cable or satellite.
