Default Charging For A Debit Card

I've heard that Bank of America is going to start charging for patrons using their debit cards. I'm not a customer of their's but I'm sure the other banks will soon follow suit. You know the scenario, shark, blood. What do you think of this situation?

I am a Bank of America customer. Apparently the fee is going to be $5 a month when you use your debit card. Apparently you can still make withdrawals at an ATM for free from what I hear. I'm not happy about it but I'm not switching banks because I know a lot of banks are going to start doing it. I hate it and I wouldn't have such a problem with it if they would decrease their overdraft fees.
