I have been trying to sell some really good fitness equipment on Craig's list and I am about at the end of my rope! I have a $1000 piece of equipment I am trying to sell for a measly $200 and still no luck. I have had about 20 responses some saying will you take less, or that they want it and NO ONE ever shows up!
Less? It's $1000 and you are selling for $200 - man some greedy people out there. Don't give up hope yet, just keep it on there and it will sell sooner or later!
Hang tight for sure, don't let them make you upset. The right person will come along soon enough. Don't sell them any cheaper! Man they are already getting a heck of a deal!
Have you tried to sell it on Facebook? Maybe some of your friends would be interested if they knew you had it available. We have a local swap shop listing on Facebook for locals. We also have a barter group that we've started that is going quite well. You may also want to try a local newspaper.
We have a buy, sell, trade group here on Facebook although my experience getting rid of things doesn't sound any better than yours. I hate it when someone says I'm coming to get it, and then never shows.
Really? I've always had good experiences with selling on Craigslist. How long have you had it up? Post it every day. Make sure you have a nice picture and say how much the equipment cost you.
