Default credit card-pay as you go

My new credit card strategy is pay as you go. If I've made any purchases that day, I log on to my credit card account and pay enough to cover them.

Using this method, that plastic is very real money since I know I'll be taking it out of my checking account at the end of the day. It's a great way to save money. My credit card payments are the lowest they've been in years!

I don't do that but it's a good idea. I pay when the bill comes in. I like to check the bill to be sure it's right and I think if I paid as I went, it would get messy.

That sounds like a great plan. I haven't done it, but sometimes it would be very tight for me. Once in a while I need to buy groceries or gas on credit and can't pay it off right away. I don't have much debt, but I do have some. I just don't go buy a new tv or some big ticket item on a card.
