I have recently had a cvs open in my area and have heard about the extra care card. How does this work? Is it just like money you build towards a gift card for the store? Has it helped you save any money?

If it is the same type I have (not sure, mine is in my wallet) you can save on a ton of things. The only issue I have is that within the past 6 months the local grocer is cheaper on many items that we are always using so I have not been to CVS lately.

I don't use it but I have a friend who does really well using the card and coupons at the same time. She frequently comes out being owed money but she is REALLY good at the coupon game!
