I have to say I will cruise the occasional garage sale, and I have been know to hit the flee market every once in a while. I have found some really good bargains, and when the kids were growing out of their clothes faster than I could think, who could pass up a pair of good jeans for $3-5.

My best find was a set of 4 bar stools that were in perfect condition that I bought for $20. They were nothing too fancy, but they were a perfect fit for our breakfast bar in our kitchen.

Do you shop garage sale and flee markets? What has been your best buy or neatest find?

I have shopped flea markets before and if I see something interesting ata garage sale I'll stop. I have also found this great sale they have around here a couple of times a year. It's a moms of multiples sale and they have tons of toys, clothes, baby furniture atc. for yard sale prices it's incredible!

I love garage/yard sales. I will shop them when the items look good. I am getting pretty good at it, I can tell if I'm driving by or stopping quick now.

I'm not big on flea markets. I think it's because it's usually so hot when they have them. I'm not a fan of digging through boxes of stuff with the hopes of finding something I really must have.

We have town-wide yard sales and this is usually when I go out.

I love to go to yard sales and flea markets! I find the best things there. One thing I've noticed is that people get the latest "gadget" and then decide they don't like it. Then I get it and see if I like it. I got one of those purses you can stuff all kinds of things in and then it doesn't hurt your back. I think I paid like $5.00 for it.

Yes, I shop garage sales especially for kids clothes. My little ones are growing so fast that I just can't bring myself to spend what the stores want off the rack. It has saved me so much money and the kids have gotten some really nice stuff.

I love yard sales! My best find was one of those steam mops for $5. I wanted one forever and finally the lady across the street had a yard sale and her sister had given it to her to sell! I was thrilled. Now I'm on the lookout for one of those clothes steamers!

I stop at everyone I can! I love a good bargain and I've gotten quite a few this way. My end tables in my living room were just $5 each. The table and chairs in my kitchen (perfect-never did anything to them) were a $25 bargain. I can furnish a whole house for almost nothing if I hit enough yard sales.

I shop yard sales and flea markets quite often. We also go to a local auction which has quite a few nice items. There is one guy there who goes around and buys up estate stuff. We have found a lot of nice pieces there at VERY reasonable price. I knit and crochet and I've bought a lot of tools that way.
