One of the ways I'm looking now to tighten my budget is to get rid of my home phone (land) line. Everyone in the house now has a cell phone and we hardly ever use the phone, it just seems like a waste of money. Do you have a lane line?

Each of us have our own cell phone so we rarely use the land line. But I need it to get connected to internet so we just keep it.

We do! We don't get great cell phone reception up where I live. I wish I could get rid of the landline phone and save some money too. If we ever get better reception I will.

We still have a landline so that we can get the internet. I did call about turning it off and just having the internet and it was only a $5 difference monthly so we just kept it.

I got rid of my cell phone and kept the land line. Reception is very spotty in my area, and there's none at home unless you can find just the right spot outside, so I really couldn't get rid of the land line. I also work online from home, so I have Internet through my phone company.
