So far we have calculated our savings only from shopping smarter when it comes to the grocery store, right now its at $1,529.67 and we still have 3 1/2 weeks to go. We are still checking out other random savings but I am pretty impressed with this one. How did the rest of you do?

I am not sure what ours are until the end of the year since we use a computer program to help keep track of them. We also take the time to see what we are spending too much on so year after year our extra buys get smaller.

We don't have a great variety of grocery stores where we live so we don't get very good savings. We do shop at the dollar store and at Save A Lot which saves us some money.
