I have found gardening can get quite expensive. I love to garden and was wondering if anyone has any tips on saving money and being a frugal gardener.

Compost. It is better then any fertilizer you can buy. Or at least I think so.

You can save the seeds of heirlooms, but not hybrids. That will help with seed costs. And grow from seeds rather then buying starter plants.

Those are smart tips, Jason. I always like to start a plant from seed, and my husband always wants to buy plants. I'm going to show him your post since he will not listen to me!
