My boyfriend recently got fired from work and it's such a shame. There have been too many people fired and laid off lately. It's very scary because now these people can't feed their families.
It is scary and a shame. Why was he fired? I know companies are cutting jobs and laying people off. Has he found a new one yet? I hope he is able to get unemployment for now.
I know some people who are stuck in a raise freeze that are working around it by promoting to new titles within the company. Others are just laying people off left and right for the silliest of things.

He was fired because of a time sheet incident that happened back in February. He had marked the wrong day off and corrected it, but too late. They said it was fine but then they decided they needed to get rid of some employees and I guess that qualified him to be the first to go.
