Default Has your Grocery Store put a limit on coupon use?

I read the other day that some of the big time Grocery Stores were going to start putting a limit on the amount of coupons you could use and some other ways you use them, like bogo's with coupons, etc. So far our local store hasn't done this but I think it is all the craze of coupon using now a days. Just when you think you have found a way to start really saving.........

My store is fine at least for now, unless I am doing something against the policy printed on the coupon they will accept it. Do you know which stores are doing this?

I've heard that too but so far, so good. I just don't have a place around me that will double coupons like they used to do one day a week. I do get some good deals if I go on senior day and get that discount in addition to coupons.

Not yet but I have been hearing rumors that it may come to it. It's really hard to get good bargains now anyway without the stores starting to limit coupons.

Our stores will only allow you to use 3 of the same coupon in any 1 transaction. I think its silly! They don't care how many coupons you use in total but not more than 3 of the same one.

I think that stinks! As long as you aren't using expired ones and have what you are suppose to then they should honor them. I guess there is such a new coupon craze going on they are afraid they might 'loose money'? HA!

Ours is 4 total unless its on a specialty item and most times those are marked with the weekly list so we know ahead of time. I have seen people with other coupons in line ahead of me (and with wic) who are both unorganized and the cashiers tend to hate it. I once saw a lay storm off after yelling at the cashier, you know their job has to be interesting some days!

Publix changed what stores they accept coupons from.

We had a slight issue at Target last week. We were buying diapers, bought 2 boxes of a certain brand and had two manufactures coupons, each good for $3 off one box. Well, the computer only accepted one coupon and did not want to accept the other. Had to have a manager due a refund.

I have heard about stores imposing coupon limits, but as far as I know they haven't changed anything near me yet. I don't understand this though. Don't the grocery stores get reimbursed by the manufacturers for the coupons? Or am I totally wrong about that?

On the store note I had signed up last week for some deals and I got a coupon booklet from a store I never use (Publix) but looking up their deals for this week and flipping through that book, guess where I am going this weekend?

Hopefully they are not strict with their coupons since I have never really shopped there before.
