Default Health insurance costs

Did you see the latest news that healthcare insurance costs have gone up 9% for 2010? Man what does that mean to us employees next year? You know that our employer’s won’t eat that huge increase all on their own…. That means that we will have a hike in our insurance premiums.

I saw that and thought the same thing! I don’t know why they don’t let us go to Government health insurance like they have in Canada. How much more can we take? I already have enough deductions with each pay. It would not be so bad if we actually got raises to go along with these insurance premium hikes.

My husband's insurance went up way more than 9% this year. It used to be about $100 a month for the family plan and now it's $500. We had to cancel it because we couldn't afford it.
