I’m curious to know how many credit cards you have. If you are married do you have joint cards or individual cards? I’ve got a lot of friends that seem to pull out their “plastic” for everything.
We don't have credit cards anymore. We have cut ours up and have decided to use debit cards only. We will know exactly what's in our accounts that way and not overspend. If we don't have the money in the bank to use on the debit card, then we don't buy it.
We each have our own store cards-mine's Lowe's and her is Kohls and others I don't remember but she pays for hers and I pay mine. We also have a few joint Visa-type cards. Of course we're older and more financially secure so don't go by me for an example.
We have a couple of "joint" cards, which just means either of us can use it. We only use them in case of emergency. I'm like Jasper in the fact that we have "store cards" on our own. I have Kohl's and Fashion Bug, and he has Lowe's and Sear's.
We have a few, and some of them are joint. It takes some work, but I use them for paying bills, gas, groceries and other things we buy regularly and use the rewards points. Just have to be careful and pay them off monthly.
I have friends who do that too Jason. I also use store cards for their rewards and 1 regular card for the points. I have never cashed in on the points yet (tells you how often I don't use the cards). Ours are joint at my house.
We don't have joint credit cards are not planning to have any. We just use our individual cards. I have two credit cards myself, but I only use one card, the VISA card.
