I'm just wondering what other people are paying monthly for internet. I've had a Verizon air card for about three years now and it costs me $65 a month. I live too far out in the country to get cable or DSL, so it's really my only option.
Yes, sometimes you really don't have much choice because of where you live. I guess you are lucky that you can get what you have. We have AT&T and pay $42 a month.
Ouch! I'm not sure exactly what mine costs as it is in a Bundle but it's a lot. I pay $150 for just my internet, digital cable and the DVR. I know I am getting ripped off. I'm actually going to call the cable company and see if I can get a deal if I add the phone.
It stinks when you are stuck with something because of where you live. My options are limited too, because of country living. I can't get Frontier (telephone one) DSL but I can through my cable. Of course cable internet is more expensive. I'm paying just about the same as you.
I'm using Comcast and have for basically the past 8 years. I have the second fastest speed available to me and it is $70.00 a month. It may be a lot but it is well worth it for the quality I get and the amount of time it is used.
