Default Incandescent Light Bulbs

Do incandescent light bulbs really save money? I don't think so! I know that they consume almost 80% less energy than regular bulbs but my electricity bill remains the same even after one year of using those bulbs everywhere in the house.

It sounds like a good marketing plan, though, doesn't it? The "green" effort has people drinking the "kool-aid" and buying into the idea that everything other than what we're used to is better for us. I've got some myself but I haven't seen the value yet in having swapped them out.
