Default Incorrectly marked items

Has anyone every raised a stink about this before? I almost did today but a new employee actually realized the mistake while the item (pies) were still in my cart. I ended up getting both for the B1G1F advertised deal and still saved a few pennies on top!

Awesome... and yes I have been known to fight to get the advertised price. Once someone put a sale ad on some Christmas totes - I mean it was crazy low. I took the employee right over and showed them and they had to give it to me (the sale low price).

Happymom, I hate when they make you prove them wrong. I had a customer service person once tell me that I was wrong on a loaf of bread because it had NEVER been that price. I took her over and showed her the sign and then she had to eat a little humble pie.

My mom actually got a deal on her wedding set this way. Someone had mismarked the rings in the display case. It was supposed to say $1799 and they marked it $799. Because we live in a state with truth in pricing, they had to give it to her for the $799 price tag.

I love getting deals like this but I do feel bad when the stores can not continue to find the people responsible for it. Next time you see something highly priced, assume its because they are trying to recoup that other money lost.

My friend ran into this buying a truck. He needed something ASAP, and he went to a dealer. They forgot to add something to the sticker price. I think it was all the extras on the truck, it was listed at base price or something like that. He took it up to them and had to fight a little, but got it for that price.

There are times when you need to haggle and its good, then you need too and its bad. I had a similar issue years ago over carpeting in our house. We went down, saw the advertised price, they wrote up all of the paperwork and at the end we had to argue for them to agree to what they already agreed to.
